FoRgiVe & fOrGeT

A few days ago, I went to somewhere to meet my old friend.....I felt like something great happened to me on that moment!!! We don’t have such a great time together since something happened to us.... something that taught us how to appreciate someone who is beside us.....I’m the one who don’t know how to appreciate her.....I really hope that she can forgive me... when we met I’m always the one who start the conversation first, who will ask for forgiveness....I know should not state here that I’m the one who ask for forgiveness but I have to. One of my friend said to me, even we are not the one who make the mistake it will look nice to ask for forgiveness. Maybe we have done mistakes before but we do not realised them so let us try to say “I’m so sorry......” to all people whom we have been with them before even my parents, neighbours, housemate or anyone related to our lives. Word sorry can’t be easily said to anyone, even it is a word that we use ask for forgiveness. We have to try our best to avoid from doing mistakes then we can say sorry if they do not satisfied with us. The word forgive is not only between human being but also with The Creator.

Every son of Adam makes mistakes, and the best of those who make mistakes are those who repent.- Prophet Muhammad (Narrated by At-Tirmidhi). So as we know we are trying to be the best so let us immediately repent if we have done wrong, and there is no loss if you repent everyday.

When you realize you’ve made mistake, made amends immediately. It’s easier to eat crow while it’s still warm. I myself always do mistakes in my daily life and of course I am still learning to be the best and repent immediately.

In the Holy Quran, Ali- Imran 3:159 stated that, “and by the mercy of Allah, you dealt with them gently. And had you been severe and harsh-hearted, they would have broken away from you; so pass over (their faults), and ask (Allah) forgiveness for them; and consult them in their affairs. Then when you have taken decision, put your trust in Allah, certainly, Allah loves those who put their trust in Him.”, very nice versus to be a guideline in our daily lives. Be a better person from day to day so that we can reach the “mardhatillah”. Remember to put your trust in Allah in whatever you do.....

From our Prophet Muhammad, narrated by Muslim, “If one gives charity it does not diminish his wealth; if someone forgive others, Allah bestows more honour on him; and if one humbles himself for Allah’s sake, He exalts him higher.”, there are so many thing we can learn from this statement not only about forgiveness but there are also about humble and charity. Islam such a perfect religion, it teaches us in every aspect even the most simple things.

FORGIVE

Free yourself from the bondage of hurt, anger and resentment

Open your heart to the opportunity to experience true joy

Release your need to be right

Gain perspective by seeing the situation through the other's eyes

Imagine the highest possible outcome for the situation

View only the good for that is all that is really true

Enter the garden of the Divine, fresh and new like the Spring

Dad.....wow, a simple word to call! But do you know that certain person, they do not have such a wonderful relationship with the person who we call "dad"....it's quite disappointed me even it does not happened to me... most of the people proudly respect their mother not their father....they might forget what their fathers have done to them since they are small until they become a successful person......I love my dad very much....he has done everything to make sure I can get a better life than him...thanks a lot, dad!!!! I know you really want to spend lots of time with me, but you can't because you have to work to make sure I can go to the best school, I can eat nutritious food, I can buy everything I want, and everything that you can't can when you were small.. Thanks a lot dad!!!! I really love and miss you a lot!!!! I know I can't afford to pay you even I have lots of money, even I can buy everything you want....because you do everything with your sincere heart.....thanks again because you teach me lots of things that I can't learn even graduated from the most popular university....

WHAT IS A DAD?

A dad is someone who; wants to catch you before you fall,

but instead picks you up, brushes you off, and lets you try again,

A dad is someone who; wants to keep you from making mistakes,

but instead lets you find your own way, even though his heart breaks in silence,

when you get hurt.

A dad is someone who; hold you when you cry, scolds you when you break the rules,

shines with prides when you succeed, and have faith in you when you fail.

This week my father's going to fetch me to back home. Last night, he was willing to drive to my college to have dinner with me even he knew that it might be late to back home....since my father is busy with his works I can't have a long talk with him everyday, this makes me fell like I'm a little bit far from my dad but I'm not. He always asks me about my studies, life, friends, and everything related to me. He don;t want to be a busy father that doesn't know anything about his daughter....he will try his best to understand me.....if he can he still want to read bedtime stories to me but he can't. I am a big girl now!!! I'm not his little girl anymore but I'm still his old daughter who wants to hear bedtime stories from him......

Anyway, thanks dad!!!!

You are the best father I ever had......

Today, oh my Allah!!!! i really miss my family so much especially my mother.....this is my second year stayed in hostel but i am still learning everything including don't be a homesick person!!! HELP ME!!! I can't...mum.... I really miss your cook, your "long speech", your smell, your touch, and everything about you...I miss them!!!

Your Lord has decreed that you worship none but Him, and that you be kind to your parents. Whether one or both of them attains old age in your life, say not to them a word of contempt, nor repel them, but address them in term of honor. And out of kindness, lower unto them the wing of humility, and say :"My Lord! Bestow on them Your Mercy as they cherished me in childhood." (The Quran, Al-Israa' 17:23-24)

Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him): "A man came to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) and said, O Messenger of Allah, who among the people is most deserving of my companionship?" He said, "your mother". The man asked, "then who?", He said, "your mother". He asked, "then who?", He said, "your mother". the man asked again, "then who?", He said, "your father."- Prophet Muhammad.....

I have read about the words by Sophia Loren, she said that a mother always has to think twice, once for herself and once for her child. All mums are like that, if you say your mum is not like that....please think twice before you said it for the second time.....when you want money,your mum give it to you,right??? Have you think that your mum might have something to buy for her self but she forget it just because of you.....see she think twice, right???? Abraham Lincoln had said, "I remember my mother's prayer and they have always followed me. they have clung to me all my life.".....Mum, i know you never forget to pray for me.....thank you for your prayers and I'll do my best for you!!!!

A mother is someone who dreams great dreams for you, but then she lets you choose the dreams you have for yourself and loves you just the same..... there is no one can comfort me as you.....you still try your best to comfort me even you yourself are not comfortable.....I really hope that one day I can make you be the happiest person in this world, make you smile every second, I'll try to make you comfortable more than you want, and I'll try my best to fulfill all your wish and hope!!!! I hope that I can be the best daughter you ever have......

MOTHER

A labor of love, a journey of joy,

A pillar of strength, a shoulder to cry on,

A wise man is able to adapt to the surprises of life as water to the decanter it is poured in.....so even we are not so wise, please try our best to be a wise man.....starting from this early Muharram...Remember to change and to change for the better are two different things, hopefully we are still able to compare it..
Aeschylus had said "I'm not afraid of storms, for I am learning to sail my ship".....to learn something we can not be afraid of something.....

one who has mastered himself is truly free. Freedom lies in the heart of the sage, servitude in the heart of the fool....
